Otelia H. Boyd

Departed this January 3, 2018. Mrs. Otelia H. Boyd, age 90, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Boyd Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Griscilla Boyd and Shelree Jones(John); one son, James W. Boyd(Sylvia); five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Adams and Laura Ellis; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1PM at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Manson, North Carolina where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Richard M. Henderson(pastor) off. Interment church cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Tuesday.
