Philip Melvin Scott

Scott, departed this life August 1, 2023. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phylis A. Scott. He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Scott Charles(Sherman); two sons, Artie T. Jefferson and Perry T. Scott(Londilia); five grandchildren, Sonny Jefferson, Lauren Slowly(Joel), Daija McCoy-Scott, Perry T. Scott Jr. and Jonathon S. Charles; eight great grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Aubrey Bragg and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. where Mr. Scott can be viewed Sunday 10am to 6pm and where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30pm Monday. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Tuesday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue.  Rev. Micah Jackson officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
