Poindexie Russell

Departed this life April 7, 2019.  Rev.  Poindexie Russell, age 79, of Richmond.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Russell;  one daughter, Laverne Pucket and  one son, Poindexie Russell Jr.  He is survived by two daughters, Marcella Jones(Carlton) and Alma Jones(Robert);  one son, Michael Russell(Marva);  a host of grand and great grandchildren;  two brothers, Dr.  Joseph Russell(Alice) and Rev.  Linwood Russell(Yolanda);  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  a sister-in- law, Juanita Winbush and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Friday.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Mt.  Herman Baptist Church, 2814 Moss Side Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Dr.  Gregory Fisher(pastor).  Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
