Departed this life while in hospice care, October 24th, 2020, with his wife at his side. Reginald Elsworth Cheek, age 78, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Andrea Cheek. He is survived by his wife, Fern Cheek; one daughter, Toya Cheek-Bosman(Henry Jr.); one son, Reginald Cheek Jr.(Adrienne); four grandchildren; two sisters, Viviene Barbara Cheek and Carolyn Cheek Nelson;  one aunt, Tanza Hutchinson; two sisters-in-law, Vivian Cheek and Kimberly Scott(Kenneth Bynum Jr.); brother-in-law, Kenneth Scott; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 3PM. Interment at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia at a later date. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 2:45PM.
