Rhonda Young Mason

Departed this life on November 22, 2023 surrounded by family at St. Mary's Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, ,William Mason, her mother, Odessa McKellar, her Father Thomas Carroll Sr., her sister, Debra (Donald) Booker, her brother, Derrick (Yvonne) Carroll. She is survived by three daughters, Odessa (Gary I) Harding, Iteriah (Ocie III) Carroll, and Danea (John Jr.) Goins. Step daughter: Ziya Mason. Her grandchildren: Odaijah Allen-Peoples, Kyndriah Carroll, Ocie Felton IV, Seth Felton, Hasani Harding, Elijah Harding, Gary Harding II, and Odyssey Harding. Her sisters: Joans Eva Kimble, Gloria Dean Jones, Geraldine Anderson, and Brenda Pettis. Her brothers: Jerry Kimble, Thomas Carroll Jr., Bobby Carroll, Jerry Carroll, Raymond Carroll and Maris Carroll. Her best friend: Karen Coleman. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Service will be held at Joseph Jenkins Funeral home on December 2, 2023 at 1pm.  Viewing will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023. We will announce the location of the repast a little later once plans are finalized.
