Robert Cole

Departed this life December 17, 2017. Robert Cole Sr., age 77, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. George and Estelle Cole; one brother, Lamb Cole and one son, Vincent Quarles. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Cole; two daughters, Suzette Cole and Denean Mitchell(Jerry); five sons, Robert Cole Jr., Michael(Janet), Timothy, & Marlon Cole and Orlando Wood Jr.; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Francena Porter and Joyce Cole; four brothers, George(Shirley), Benjamin(Louise), Alexander Sr.(Louise), and Allen Sr.(Marilyn) Cole; sister-in-law, Louise B. Cole; brother-in-law, Tommie Tiller(Judy), a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. One best friend, Connie Boykins from Fayetteville, NC and devoted niece and caregiver, Sharlene Johnson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Michael Moore(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
