Robert Davis Sr.

Robert M. “Dog” Davis Sr.,74, entrepreneur, mentor, beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend departed this life on December 28th, 2017. One of seven children, he joins his parents, Leonard and Annie Davis, devoted wife, Yvonne “Pat”, and son, Robert Davis Jr. in eternity. He leaves to cherish his legacy, daughter Yvette Rajput, son, Jason Davis, five grandchildren, Kristin and Kole Smith (D’Angelo Smith), Jason and Breanna Davis (Kashanda Morgan), Jayla Collins, special sons, Tajaddin Daily, Jamal Davis , Thomas Williams and a loving friend, Ida Fleming. He will be fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren, golf buddies and friends. He was a proud Mighty Dragon from the Class of ‘61, Maggie L. Walker High School.You may honor Robert’s life with visitation on Friday, January 5th, 2018 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Joseph Jenkins Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 6th, 2018, 2 p.m. at Providence Park Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Jerome Ross officiant. Interment on Monday, January 8th noon at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
