Rudolph Alexander James

Departed this life January 17, 2018. Rudolph Alexander James, age 87, of Richmond, formerly of New York. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Freida R. James. He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina James; one daughter, Tracey James Forbes(Glen); two sons, Martin R. James(Gwinnett) and James Thomas Rogers; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Hattie Sharpe(Thomas), Catherine Parker(Melvin) and Vondra Curtis(James); one brother, Eric James(Laverne); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in- law, Bernice James, Frances James, and Margaret Gregory; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. The family will receive friends Monday 10AM at Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 614 N. Third Street followed by funeral services at 11AM. Rev. Reuben Boyd(pastor) off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
