Ruth White-Barbee

Departed this life August 20th, 2022. Mrs. Ruth White-Barbee, age 74, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one son, Leroy McAllister III. She is survived by her husband, Ernest “Pete” Barbee; one daughter, Tiffany Fells; two step children, Craig Barbee(Kisha) and Bridgette Jackson(Denard); a devoted granddaughter, Justice Robinson; four step grandchildren; one devoted sister, Zelma Woodruff; four aunts; a host of nieces among them a devoted Beverly Woodruff, nephews among them a devoted David Woodruff; cousins; two sisters in law; two brothers- in -law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2705 Hartman Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Roscoe D. Cooper III(pastor) off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
