Sidney S. Vance

Departed this life April 2, 2018.  Sidney S.  Vance, age 75, of Richmond.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Deshields Vance.  He is survived by two sons, Derick and Errol Vance;  a sister, Paula Katrenia Vance- Missouri;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  two brothers-in- law, Calvin Deshields(Francine) and Mack Deshields(Joyce);  and other relatives and friends among them Dr.  Hezekiah Braxton(Big Brothers and Sisters) and two god children, Cameron & Morgan Brown and Marcus Omari Adkins.  He was a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue.  There will be an Omega Service Tuesday at 10AM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue followed by Funeral services at 11AM.  Dr.  Stephen Hewlett(pastor) off.  Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery.
