Thomas White Jr.

Departed this life December 15, 2018.  Thomas White Jr., age 88, of Richmond.  He was a successful entrepreneur and a barber for Eugene’s Barber Shop and Harvey’s Barber Shop for many decades.  Thomas was a known shriner and golfer in the Richmond area.  He was preceded in death by his first wife ,Geneva White.  He is survived by his wife, Yasmin Crawley White;  five daughters;  three sons;  seventeen grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren;  two great great grandchildren;  one sister, Dorothy Powell;  one brother, Sherman White;  a host of nieces and nephews among them two special nieces, Serenity Gulley and Maya Holland;  and cousins;  one daughter-in-law;   two sons- in- law;  three sisters- in- law;  two brothers-in- law and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM Sunday and where funeral services will be held Monday at 1PM.  Rev.  Frazier Overton off.  Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Monday.
