Departed this life May 14th, 2024. Mrs. Vernelle Gresham, age 95, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Augustus Gresham. She is survived by two daughters, Tanya and Mary Gresham; two sons, Keving and John(Kay) Gresham; one step daughter, Sandra Jordan; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 4PM. Graveside services will be held Monday May 20th 11 AM at Riverview Cemetery. Rev. F. Lamont Gooding off. Family and friends assemble at the cemetery 10:45AM Monday.
