Virginia Ann Carter

Departed this life on November 5, 2024. Mrs. Virginia Ann Carter, age 84, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Carter Sr. She is survived by four daughters, Audrey K. Shelton, Ann E. Carter, Carolyn P. Carter and Lorraine Carter-Harris (Ronnie); one son, Thomas Carter Jr. (Robin); a host of grand, great grand and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Shelton and Barbara Gattison (James); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, among them devoted, Thelma Vaughan and Elias Scott. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16th, at 11:00am. Rev. Corey Taylor, officiating. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home at 10:45am on Saturday.
