Departed this life January 23rd, 2021. Willie Morant, age 87, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Rosemary Singleton and one son, Willie James Singleton. He is survived by six children, Leroy Singleton, Yvonne Terry, Phillip Singleton, Linda Harris, Belinda Pollard and a devoted Elaine Robinson; 25 grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren; one sister, Frances Baker; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters- in- law; one son- in- law; and other relatives and friends among them his companion, Betty Walker. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Morant can be viewed Friday from 10 to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30AM. Interment private. The governor’s recommendation on social distancing will be applied.
