Departed this life February 20, 2015. Cory J. Holmes, age 40, of Richmond. He is survived by a daughter, Korema Holmes; two grandchildren, Haden and Markei Holmes; his mother, Carolyn Venable; his father, Henry Harris; six sisters; Angela & Shenell Holmes, Margaret Scott(Robert), Sandra Day(Dennis), and Kavon & Lenita Harris; three brothers; Terrance Holmes, Justin Harris and Dermaine Shelton; aunts; uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Sherita Silas. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 1PM. Rev. Thomas West off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Monday.
